Sensei Mercedes Peterson - Shodan

I am in the 8th grade at John R. Williams/Riverside High School.    I have 6 siblings, all younger than me:  Caitlin, Emerald, Johnny, Joseph, Jordan and Savannah.   Three of my siblings are in karate at the Karate Institute with me.  My friends and I love to listen to music and to sing along.  My favorite singer and idol is Avril Lavigne. I would like to thank my parents, Heather and John, for supporting me.  I would also like to thank my grandfather, David Griffiths, for all the time he has given to bring me to karate, for his belief in me and for pushing me to achieve my Black Belt.  I love you Grandpa.
